The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 12 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Ignacio Bartolome got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Igon was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Generoso Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Navarro in the 26th minute of the match. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s attentive Remigio Botello managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. After 44 played minutes ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Almada. In the 47th minute of the game Remigio Botello made a throw-in which Thiago Almada played forward. Generoso Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th minute, Generoso Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ made a substitution. Roberto Cabañas replaced Generoso Navarro. The supporters of Peru booed when ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Hipolito Igon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Roman Tauro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hipolito Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Mina has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 78th minute. Roberto Cabañas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 91 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Igon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
