In the last second Marco Day throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gaston Fernández in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The corner led 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Salvador Polentzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bona Dios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Carrillo in the 45th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Fernández made a kick off. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Cassius Byrne fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bona Dios quite easily take care of the ball. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bona Dios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jenson Smith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Bona Dios made a huge save. 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sam Campbell 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
