Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Marquez went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Testa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 8th minute of play. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Testa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Testa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Garrido in the 16th minute of play. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Pascual Carballar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Danilo Testa quite easily take care of the ball. Timoteo Michael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Testa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Danilo Testa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Testa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Sarmiento went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Wieslaw Bielejewski hit a great ball. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven-Olof Sjöberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Testa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Marquez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 55th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Timoteo Michael made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. Danilo Testa was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Axel Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced Arnaldo Marquez. 67 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Okanalp Özdil scored 5-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Timoteo Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Okanalp Özdil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Danilo Testa managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Colombia's Abram Secada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
