Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Monty Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Mcdonald made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when USA's Edward Mcdonald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Afonso da Cunha put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Day. Afonso da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 21st minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 23rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xande Campbell in the 24th minute. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Afonso da Cunha put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Day. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of the match. Xande Campbell struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso da Cunha went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xande Campbell to maneuver through the defense. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Gustavo da Silva replaced David Brás. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 71st minute of play. Cassius Byrnes short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ludomil Ziomkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ludomil Ziomkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Rogers in the 79th minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 83rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein sped through USA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Day. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Breno Torres was substituted for Afonso da Cunha. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Breno Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Breno Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Torres in the 95th minute of play. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo da Silva took the corner. USA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ had won, even though USA had held more of the ball.
