Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Pergamino's Jacobo Chepe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Deportivo Pergamino's Jacobo Chepe in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Chepe got free with Julio Vera in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Chepe scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Chepe in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Jacobo Chepe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Chepe's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Deportivo Pergamino made a substitution. Carolo Jerardo replaced Jacobo Chepe. 27 minutes into the game, Nunez Oroitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Nunez Oroitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Roberto Bonano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Deportivo Pergamino's Nunez Oroitz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Jerardo in the 34th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Carolo Jerardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Carolo Jerardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Roberto Bonano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 64th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Pergamino's Baltasar Santio was substituted for Kang Li. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 71st minute. Roberto Bonano made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albino Jeraldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Pergamino's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Pergamino's corner Albino Jeraldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Roberto Bonano made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Jerardo in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Santio in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Deportivo Pergamino were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
