In the 18th minute, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Valdomiro Matos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 20th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdomiro Matos made a kick off. João Adolfo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd minute of play. Valdomiro Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Matos ran back to his position shaking his head.
