Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victorino Peake took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Peake in the 2nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serbülent Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! 11 minutes into the match, Victorino Peake notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorino Peake did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 17 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Victorino Peake came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a FC Anderlecht Huachipato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Vitaliy Fedchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Vitaliy Fedchenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Fedchenko in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Vitaliy Fedchenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Serbülent Baysan made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Serbülent Baysan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Alberto-Federico Acosta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Victorino Peake made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 85 played minutes, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Eufemio Ehijo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Anderlecht Huachipato reached it. Serbülent Baysan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alberto-Federico Acosta hit a great ball. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
