Maximino Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 17th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fazendinha's goalkeeper Maximino Acevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Guilherme Melo. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Macedo in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Fazendinha getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gláuber Camargo hit a great ball. Maximino Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Fazendinha got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Fontes. When Evandro Vale came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Fazendinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Vale couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Maximino Acevedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristóvão de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Maximino Acevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Cadaval went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Joel Gaona's late challenge caught a Fazendinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gaona helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. The Fazendinha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
