Benedito Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 19th minute of the match. If Fábio da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match Sagarana Clube got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafim Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Beto Heidemann got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 24 minutes into the match. Serafim Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sagarana Clube's Éder Madureira came free and shot a quick shot against goal 37 minutes in the game, fortunately Dante Lacasa had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Barros in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Yu Yang Sang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedito Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Lautaro Mancebo made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Éder Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 52nd minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Sagarana Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Trigo having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Madureira in the 68th minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Éder Madureira went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sagarana Clube's Éder Madureira. But to his dismay, Éder Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. Bruno Salles replaced Éder Madureira. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Zé Roberto da Costa. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Salles in the 82nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Benedito Trigo threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Zorita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
