The audience thought a goal was coming when Colas Valdueza got free with Thiago Pliego in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colas Valdueza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 92nd minute C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner. Albino Baladi went to the cornerflag to take it. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Montes in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Teodosio Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
