In the 6th minute Quentin Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Ahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Hallam in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Oto saved OLYMPIACOS FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toby Dransfield in the 14th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Hallam in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Toby Dransfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lisburn Distillery F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Hallam, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Dransfield in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Elpidio Brais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLYMPIACOS FC and the Lisburn Distillery F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Brais to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Chayo in the 29th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Paul Ahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Rider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Cezary Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Lennon in the 44th minute of play. Lisburn Distillery F.C. were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after OLYMPIACOS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inácio Mazza took the corner. The corner led to Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Sidney Hallam getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Lazcano to make the kick off. Igor Sanchez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Ovidio Oto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Elpidio Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toby Dransfield in the 62nd minute of play. Quentin Lennon came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ovidio Oto could save by the left post. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Lennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Inácio Mazza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto didn't even have to move. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Quentin Lennon sent off a good shot on target. Gaudencio Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ovidio Oto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Sanchez went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score.
