In the 18th minute, Taimo Kaalikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rolando Medardo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matador's protests and gave Rolando Medardo a yellow card for diving instead. Reaalne Madrid JK's Urti Machuca was substituted for Taimo Kaalikas. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Victorino Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Rähn having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Eiko Heinmaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reaalne Madrid JK and the Matador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diamantino Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Reaalne Madrid JK's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Bartuelo came free, but Raul Rähn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Reaalne Madrid JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matador.
