After some careless play in the OLYMPIACOS FC defense, 李煜 Wu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Oto. The OLYMPIACOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Oto should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carol Wojtyla came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 李煜 Wu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carol Wojtyla in the 16th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Martin Zachrisson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 22 minutes into the game, Jon Haraldsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLYMPIACOS FC the free kick. Jon Haraldsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Clemente Camerino hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Ignacio Donostia notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Donostia in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carol Wojtyla in the 41st minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Zachrisson took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Ignacio Donostia scored 1-5 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Oto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 李煜 Wu to make the kick off. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Zachrisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Santos Lazcano hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Martin Zachrisson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLYMPIACOS FC the free kick. In the 58th minute, Martin Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Andres Mateo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ovidio Oto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Zachrisson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 68 minute of play. Mark Dahlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Oto having to make a save. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Ignacio Donostia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Ignacio Donostia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Santos Lazcano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonstorps Fotboll's Adrian Billberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Donostia in the 87th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Sonstorps Fotboll's Ovidio Oto threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carol Wojtyla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save OLYMPIACOS FC from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sonstorps Fotboll's Mark Dahlberg. But to his dismay, Mark Dahlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. The OLYMPIACOS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sonstorps Fotboll were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
