With his leg Hugo Sandwall managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when VERΛ's Marcelino Francesco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ignacio Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Yngve Sjöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Francesco made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Francesco in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Sandwall saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Carol Wojtyla got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, VERΛ's goalkeeper Ricardo Honrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yngve Sjöberg. VERΛ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
