The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rune Tönnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ovidio Oto made a huge save. Mark Dahlberg made a great header on Sonstorps Fotboll's corner, it was just that OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto managed to reach the ball for a save. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Taavet Rannik sent off a good shot on target. Haroldo Etxahun kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Clemente Camerino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Haroldo Etxahun got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Rune Tönnberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Oto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the OLYMPIACOS FC defense, Taavet Rannik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Oto. The OLYMPIACOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Oto should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Taavet Rannik hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sercan Refet to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Santos Lazcano got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Tönnberg in the 37th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sercan Refet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taavet Rannik got free with Ovidio Oto in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Camerino to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Mark Dahlberg sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Lazcano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Cayo. Rune Tönnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Haroldo Etxahun hit a great ball. Jørg Heichendorff hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bernabe Normando hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Sonstorps Fotboll's Rune Tönnberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Eusebio Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørg Heichendorff in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes, Bernabe Normando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLYMPIACOS FC and the Sonstorps Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carl Utfal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taavet Rannik in the 89th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's Taavet Rannik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Oto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rune Tönnberg took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sonstorps Fotboll had played much better football throughout.
