Teodoro Rozarius was slow to take the kick. During this time ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gerardo Sabin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Honrio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 8 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Llorian. Cristo Mitxaut's late challenge caught a VERΛ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Mitxaut helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of VERΛ booed when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Marcelino Francesco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan. Gavino Orlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Garikoitz came free, but Gavino Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Gustavo Salamon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Honrio. Gustavo Salamon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ricardo Honrio made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gustavo Salamon sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, VERΛ's Marcelino Francesco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Orlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Vito in the 33rd minute of play forced ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Francesco made a kick off. Faustino Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Honrio having to interfere. When ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Hermengildo Bertol in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Danilo Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Bertol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Honrio was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Santos Eyague charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Eyague the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, VERΛ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Eyague to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Rozarius was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ricardo Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Bertol in the 90th minute of the match.
