After 5 played minutes REAL COHOLICS got a freekick which was hit by Joe Mora. Haroldo Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Bartuelo came free, but Alex Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez got control of the ball when Eliseo Martxot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eloy Barrera hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Matador's Haroldo Corderun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Pastor Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Bartuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Pastor Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Ramirez made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Eliseo Martxot sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Tijero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in REAL COHOLICS's zone, Eliseo Martxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Ramirez came out of the goal and Eliseo Martxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Truylos was slow to take the kick. During this time Matador's players had a chance to rest. Bernardino Truylos made a great header on Matador's corner, it was just that REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Tijero during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Corderun in the 66th minute of play. When Haroldo Corderun came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Matador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Corderun couldn't finish the play. Pastor Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Mora's late challenge caught a Matador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joe Mora helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Joe Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Pastor Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Urane hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Haroldo Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Pastor Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matador's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Ramirez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Bartuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Corderun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Ramirez was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
