Albino Osoro scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Oto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Aaron Eyague fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A S Y A™'s protests and gave Aaron Eyague a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A S Y A™ getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Aaron Eyague hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Acuña came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Acuña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Oto was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, A S Y A™'s Santiago Lorien got control of the ball when Bernabe Normando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simon Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Santos Lazcano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Lorien, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Ramon Piarres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Ramon Piarres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Lazcano. With 39 minutes on the clock, Benito Rumaldo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After some careless play in the OLYMPIACOS FC defense, Albino Osoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Oto. The OLYMPIACOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Oto should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Lazcano made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Albino Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A S Y A™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Osoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Osoro came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A S Y A™ made a substitution. Isaias Florian replaced Albino Osoro. 60 minutes into the game, A S Y A™'s Simon Loramendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Omar Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Florian in the 65th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gaudencio Xabel hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as A S Y A™'s Ramon Piarres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Oto. That made the score 1-5 after 69 minutes of play. Wilfredo Acuña charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Acuña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Acuña in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the game, Simon Loramendi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. A S Y A™'s Maximo Quintin was substituted for Simon Loramendi. Haroldo Etxahun hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Elpidio Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by A S Y A™'s Ramon Piarres. But to his dismay, Ramon Piarres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, A S Y A™'s Isaias Florian got a free kick in the 96th minute. A S Y A™'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
