Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toby Dransfield got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Marcelino Francesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Paul Ahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Den Hardwick during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of VERΛ booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Den Hardwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Danilo Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VERΛ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. the free kick. A collision led to VERΛ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Danilo Garikoitz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Igor Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Honrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute Den Hardwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inácio Mazza in the 13th minute. It was a well-played corner which Nichifor Bădescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 16th match minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Thielens to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paul Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Den Hardwick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Honrio made a huge save. Ignacio Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Ignacio Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Rami. Inácio Mazza, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Danilo Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Vito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when VERΛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Inácio Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Ricardo Honrio managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Den Hardwick fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the match, VERΛ's goal looked a bit too open when Den Hardwick came free, but Ricardo Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when VERΛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Paul Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Garikoitz in the 42nd minute of play. Igor Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricardo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Txomin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Honrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, VERΛ's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Connell came free, but Ricardo Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Toby Dransfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezary Gdowik kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Nichifor Bădescu got a free kick in the 91st minute. Santos Eyague was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ricardo Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toby Dransfield in the 93rd minute of play. Lisburn Distillery F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
