The supporters of REAL COHOLICS booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lazcano in the 5th minute of play forced REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Alex Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Haroldo Etxahun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Ramirez skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, REAL COHOLICS's Ovidio Oto threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Humberto Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Brais during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elpidio Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Alex Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Normando in the 20th minute of the match. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save OLYMPIACOS FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto got control of the ball when Humberto Gómez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Gómez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ovidio Oto made a huge save. Andres Mateo's late challenge caught a REAL COHOLICS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Mateo helped the player get up and apologised. Andres Mateo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Chayo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Cirilo Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in REAL COHOLICS's zone, Santos Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Ramirez came out of the goal and Santos Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Lazcano made a kick off. When Rigoberto Mendoza fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL COHOLICS's protests and gave Rigoberto Mendoza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, REAL COHOLICS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mendoza to maneuver through the defense. OLYMPIACOS FC's Haroldo Etxahun got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Normando got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alex Ramirez handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Elpidio Brais rounded REAL COHOLICS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Elpidio Brais got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 60 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Brais. After 61 minutes of play OLYMPIACOS FC's Cirilo Chayo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cirilo Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bernabe Normando struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Alex Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLYMPIACOS FC. Alex Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lazcano in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez got control of the ball when Santos Lazcano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florencio Jacob hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Humberto Gómez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Gómez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. REAL COHOLICS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Santos Lazcano scored to the left of an out of position Alex Ramirez, making the score, 1-2. REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save REAL COHOLICS from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched OLYMPIACOS FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
