Alfonso Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Osoro in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Omar Olo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Matador's Alfonso Caton. Alfonso Caton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 11 minutes, Simon Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A S Y A™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Loramendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Eliseo Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Simon Loramendi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Caton. The goal made the score 2-0. A S Y A™'s Santiago Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Mannuel in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Matador's goalkeeper Alfonso Caton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Senin. Matador's Alfonso Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Matador from getting a goal against them. In the 32ndth minute of the game Albino Osoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matador's Alfonso Caton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teobaldo Mannuel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Alfonso Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Loramendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matador's Alfonso Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Matador from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Osoro in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Matador got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Baumer. Simon Loramendi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Mannuel to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Matador defense, Albino Osoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Caton. The Matador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Caton should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Piarres in the 55th minute of the match. Santo Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Caton having to interfere. Wilfredo Acuña charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Acuña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to A S Y A™ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wilfredo Acuña hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Isaias Florian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Caton was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Ezequiel Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Simon Loramendi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alfonso Caton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A S Y A™. Eliseo Martxot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Santiago Lorien made a huge save. Matador's Alfonso Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Loramendi in the 76th minute of play. Fernando Lain's late challenge caught a A S Y A™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Lain helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Matador getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fernando Lain hit a great ball. Santiago Lorien came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Matador's Eliseo Martxot. But to his dismay, Eliseo Martxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Loramendi in the 83rd minute of play forced Matador's goalkeeper Alfonso Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A S Y A™ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
