After 9 minutes Miguir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Venancio Mirande who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Venancio Mirande almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Miguir's René Vignal did a great save. Macías Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Roque Rexino made a huge save. Club A. Independiente's Roque Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cortez Ibern in the 20th minute of play. Roque Rexino made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Macías Botello sent off a good shot on target. Macías Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Bispo in the 27th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Roque Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Tancredo's late challenge caught a Miguir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Tancredo helped the player get up and apologised. Elvio Tancredo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Macías Botello made a kick off. Xofre Rivet kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Club A. Independiente's Andres Ishmael got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macías Botello in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Rexino saved Club A. Independiente from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Macías Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Rexino came out of the goal and Macías Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cortez Ibern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 played minutes Club A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Tancredo. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Severino Eneto hit a great ball. Aquilino Karlo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Cortez Ibern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the game, Saverio Astigar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miguir the free kick. The supporters of Miguir booed when Club A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Saverio Astigar got a free kick in the 95th minute. Miguir's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
