Epifanio Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes Club A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Victoro. 72 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gamarra came free, but Epifanio Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
