After 27 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Guimarães. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 29th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Mehat Kovaçi sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes in the game, Angel Morales fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ismael Furman having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Cezar. Taribo West thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ismael Furman, a very annoying self made goal in the 44th minute which led to 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehat Kovaçi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
