Arnoud de Pelsmakere was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Kağan Kutsoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anıl Cenk Tanacan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolga Kural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Ahmet Kağan Kutsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Björkqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Anıl Cenk Tanacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoud de Pelsmakere having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cougars FC's Fiori Guimarães slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tolga Kural. That made the score 1-2 after 95 minutes of play. The Cougars FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
