The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Arsenio Manuelo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Equipo's Juliusz Cezar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 10th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Cristi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Sosa saved Vikingos FC from getting behind. Ismael Furman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vladimiro Lauro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Ronaldo Cristi struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sebastián Sosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equipo. Ismael Furman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Lauro's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Saverio Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute Equipo were awarded a corner. Juliusz Cezar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vikingos FC's goalie and right to Juliusz Cezar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vikingos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 36th minute of the match Vikingos FC got a corner. Equipo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per-Olof Vallmark ran over to the corner to take the kick. 40 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Lauro came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unai Papachronopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Unai Papachronopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Equipo's supporters rose to their feet, but Unai Papachronopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastián Sosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Cristi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Vladimiro Lauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Equipo made a substitution. Harun Elçin replaced Unai Papachronopoulos. Sebastián Sosa came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Equipo's Pietro Salles. But to his dismay, Pietro Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Pietro Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sid Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vikingos FC's Victor Abaurre was substituted for Roque Vito. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Ladislao Erramu replaced Vladimiro Lauro. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Erramu in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pietro Salles. After 82 minutes Vikingos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juliusz Cezar who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Juliusz Cezar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastián Sosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd minute, Pietro Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Equipo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Lucrețiu Filipașcu with Marek Torm as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Frederico Luz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Equipo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vikingos FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
