Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul De Gracia was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eduardo Mendieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Mel's late challenge caught a Flamengo de San Blás's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Mel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Humberto Mel hit a great ball. Timo!'s Roque Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Garcia De Paredes in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Ilixo in the 59th minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Ivan Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Raul De Gracia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Montes, 1-3. In the 88th minute, Dionisio Bastia had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 88 minutes into the game, Andres Sánchez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo de San Blás's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timo! the free kick. Timo! made a substitution. Braulio Bikendi replaced Dionisio Bastia. In the 90th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. The Flamengo de San Blás supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flamengo de San Blás would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
