The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Manuel Torrijos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliott Klemensson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Arias in the 5th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Viktor Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Manuel Torrijos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Danielsson. Manuel Torrijos came out of the goal and Robin Bergstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moisés Arias during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Moisés Arias hit a great ball. Reine Eliasson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Torrijos. Manuel Torrijos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 37 minutes, Stig-Ove Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Shadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Elliott Klemensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Manuel Torrijos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Robin Bergstedt made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Torrijos. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Max Gómez made a kick off. Manuel Torrijos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joe Garcia hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Manuel Torrijos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Klemensson in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. booed when The Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Anselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Shadows's zone, Alex Lozano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Nordström came out of the goal and Alex Lozano tried to chip the ball over his head. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Manuel Torrijos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Klemensson in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, The Shadows's Viktor Nordström got control of the ball when Alex Lozano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo-Erik Anselius during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Bo-Erik Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Gómez scored 5-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viktor Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
