Viktor Nordström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Marco Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ernani Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elliott Klemensson to make the kick off. Reine Eliasson took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernani Oliveira. Ernani Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Shadows's Viktor Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Abraão in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, The Shadows's Viktor Nordström got control of the ball when Lester Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Lester Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Nordström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6.
