The AYAZAĞA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adulfo Antunez should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Berke Gümüşsoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andoni Zubizarreta was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The 14 YâReN FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AYAZAĞA FK were winning 1-2.

AYAZAĞA FK's Matteo Mata was substituted for Berke Gümüşsoy. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toma Bo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes AYAZAĞA FK got a freekick which was hit by Vergil Van Dijk. In the 60th minute Toma Bo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adulfo Antunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atabek Makbul kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Adulfo Antunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Julin in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matteo Mata got free with Andoni Zubizarreta in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matteo Mata in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kayhan Özercan came free, but Adulfo Antunez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adulfo Antunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adulfo Antunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toma Bo in the 89th minute of the match. Sol Campbell took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adulfo Antunez. Adulfo Antunez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 96 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Julin came free, but Adulfo Antunez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AYAZAĞA FK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
