In the 19th minute, Ludwig Wassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Julin came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Wos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andoni Zubizarreta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dariusz Wos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Julin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Schmeichel saved A.C. Patagonia from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Kurt Julin put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Peter Schmeichel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 33rd minute of play forced 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
