The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Loco Ron made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.C. Patagonia's Demy Vennegoor. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Wos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Ron hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Rui Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Estefan in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Dariusz Wos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 23rd minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the A.C. Patagonia defense, Augusto Estefan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Schmeichel. The A.C. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. Zachariasz Dudkowski came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos. But to his dismay, Dariusz Wos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 37th minute Dariusz Wos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Estefan in the 38th minute of the match. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Estefan in the 39th minute of play. If Bruno Faccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Estefan to make the kick off. Dariusz Wos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zachariasz Dudkowski made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Dariusz Wos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Patagonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A.C. Patagonia's Sylwester Sroka was substituted for Ludwig Wassenius. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Gustav Siöman replaced Marcin Cebula. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loco Ron to maneuver through the defense. CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci was substituted for Abundio Manzano. CRUZ DEL SUR's Fabio Zorondo was substituted for Ronnie Odell. CRUZ DEL SUR's Pippin Aguilera was substituted for Augusto Estefan. Loco Ron hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Di Carlo came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Siöman in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute Sylwester Sroka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Sroka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Szymon Jaszyna got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Zachariasz Dudkowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CRUZ DEL SUR had won after a very even match.
