Taşçıspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grabiel Escorcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Juaneizu Merida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mitchell Godwin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 53 minute of play. Mitchell Godwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juaneizu Merida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacional made a substitution. Ursino Brunet replaced Luciano Inverso. 76 minutes into the match, Taşçıspor's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Tony Githinji Muhoho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Taşçıspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Taşçıspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
