In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Schmeichel was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Peter Schmeichel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.C. Patagonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
