Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zacarias Francesco made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute Gerardo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Price came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nestor Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 24th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 30th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Emre Can got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Characate FC. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Characate FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Santikurtz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Zacarias Francesco got a free kick in the 55th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 68 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benjamin Price. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Characate FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Leopoldo Afonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Characate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Characate FC's Leopoldo Afonso. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Afonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 90th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Daniel Zorita suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Rashid Paddington fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Characate FC's protests and gave Rashid Paddington a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador made a substitution. Luz Palacio replaced Daniel Zorita. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Rashid Paddington got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
