Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Krum Nikolchov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Obuchowicz in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Zdzislaw Obuchowicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. After 19 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krum Nikolchov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. When Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Sven Brask in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Zdzislaw Obuchowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krum Nikolchov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Brask in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lokomotiv Plovdiv were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hélder Lago took the corner. After taking down the ball on Lokomotiv Plovdiv's corner Hélder Lago fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Sven Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Plovdiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Brask to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Brask in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes, Sven Brask made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Sven Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krum Nikolchov was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. After 74 played minutes Ecuador's Cristian Sancho stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Krum Nikolchov stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Lokomotiv Plovdiv of the goal. In the 75th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Facundo Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Krum Nikolchov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Facundo Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Zdzislaw Obuchowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krum Nikolchov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Lokomotiv Plovdiv were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
