Hardeep Kunt started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Hardeep Kunt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 minutes, Xavier Cean made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saul Goodman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fede Saron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The supporters of Venezuela booed when C.D Las Palmas - Chota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneas Piedrahita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Aurelio Badilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Badilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play forced C.D Las Palmas - Chota's goalkeeper Fede Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Badilla in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Aurelio Badilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Badilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hardeep Kunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hardeep Kunt. 45 minutes into the match, Hardeep Kunt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hardeep Kunt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fede Saron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Cean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurelio Badilla who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on C.D Las Palmas - Chota's corner Aurelio Badilla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 69th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when C.D Las Palmas - Chota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Makowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fede Saron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Eneas Piedrahita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C.D Las Palmas - Chota getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Eneas Piedrahita hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sauveur Rechani came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Fede Saron managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.D Las Palmas - Chota had won after a very even match.
