The supporters of Polan Września booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Polan Września's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnaba Wydrych came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Rafal Kaczanka tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Barnaba Wydrych. Polan Września's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. It was a well-played corner which Jonathan Venegas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Rafal Kaczanka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Rafal Kaczanka's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafal Kaczanka helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Barnaba Wydrych in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Kaczanka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rafal Kaczanka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iwo Moczkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Polan Września fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Moczkiewicz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rafal Kaczanka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polan Września's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafal Kaczanka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafal Kaczanka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Rafal Kaczanka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Moczkiewicz in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play forced Polan Września's goalkeeper Barnaba Wydrych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Polan Września got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Hendzel. Polan Września made a substitution. Zenon Niziolek replaced Iwo Moczkiewicz. After 90 played minutes Polan Września got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Hendzel. Ksawery Sawicki hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Wydrych having to interfere. Chants of Venezuela echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Polan Września had held the ball for most of the match.
