Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Ferreira in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Guarei FC's 钱正光 got a free kick in the 7th minute. Armando Ruano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of the match. Guarei FC's Thomás Moura shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. The supporters of Guarei FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Betinho Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Guarei FC made a substitution.
