If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Sondang Prabowo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topsail. In the 42nd minute, Brent Goldsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendell Conn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Dylan Boegaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Topsail's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Boegaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Sondang Prabowo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Kochowski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Bill Carmichael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Topsail's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Brent Goldsmith:s penalty. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Kochowski in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Dawid Kochowski made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 91 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Topsail players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Beck didn't get a good kick on the ball.
