Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bill Carmichael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Topsail booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Goldsmith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sondang Prabowo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Dawid Kochowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brent Goldsmith. In the 34th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wendell Conn took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bill Carmichael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 52nd minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bill Carmichael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bill Carmichael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Topsail's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Wendell Conn struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sondang Prabowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sondang Prabowo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Sondang Prabowo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bill Carmichael. Bill Carmichael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Kochowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Dawid Kochowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Topsail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Dawid Kochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Topsail fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
