CSD Pte Derqui's Angelo Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Ignacio Nayely fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ignacio Nayely succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When Benjamin Tadzio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CSD Pte Derqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Tadzio couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Isaias Leobardo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Demesio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Demesio in the 38th minute of the match. Vladimiro Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 48th minute of play.
