Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angelo Demesio started the match with the kick off. Mao Yuan Hong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Mao Yuan Hong slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 13 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vladimiro Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Demesio got free with Julio Vera in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the CSD Pte Derqui defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Leão. The CSD Pte Derqui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Leão should have stopped the shot. Mao Yuan Hong scored 2-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rigoberto Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Vladimiro Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. With an all-out effort, CSD Pte Derqui's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Nayely, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimiro Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Demesio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Demesio. Vladimiro Leão came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.

A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Angelo Demesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Mao Yuan Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD Pte Derqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mao Yuan Hong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Mao Yuan Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Leão made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CSD Pte Derqui's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Vladimiro Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimiro Leão made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Angelo Demesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Angelo Demesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Martxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Leobardo in the 96th minute of play. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
