The audience was convinced that Agustín Saelices's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Cortez was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. BROLY FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that BROLY FC's Ovidio Cortez managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Cortez. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 谢伟文 to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Cortez came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Cortez having to interfere. Ovidio Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ovidio Cortez was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-5. BROLY FC's Mariano Martxel was substituted for 谢伟文. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Martxel in the 75th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Martxel in the 75th minute of play. BROLY FC made a substitution. BROLY FC's Ovidio Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save BROLY FC from getting a goal against them. Ecuador played a much better game than BROLY FC and deserved their victory. The BROLY FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
