Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 上海梦想翼俱乐部队. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 上海梦想翼俱乐部队 the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 37th minute. If 梅思鸿 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by 上海梦想翼俱乐部队's Wen Yi Li. But to his dismay, Wen Yi Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wen Yi Li's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Yi Li in the 72nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wen Yi Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 上海梦想翼俱乐部队's 邱鹰翔 was substituted for 梅思鸿. Sebastian Villa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 上海梦想翼俱乐部队's Franciszek Weyna was substituted for 龚潮洲. Wen Yi Li took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Yi Li in the 85th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 上海梦想翼俱乐部队's 郭伟震 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Ivan Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the 上海梦想翼俱乐部队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
