Froilan Jacob came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Karol Antoszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Froilan Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Froilan Jacob quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Antoszewski got free with Julio Vera in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Normando's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Nils-Emil Vennerkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Basilio Silbestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
