Carlos Alberto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Walmir Pombal came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pombal in the 11th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Benjamim Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Carlos Alberto Soares sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jaime França hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Benjamim Alvarenga made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmir Pombal. In the 87th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reko Nybacka. Reko Nybacka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Jaime França hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Catugi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
