Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Miguel Pimenta hit a great ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Alberto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Walmir Pombal came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pombal in the 11th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Benjamim Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Carlos Alberto Soares sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jaime França hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Benjamim Alvarenga made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmir Pombal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Catugi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Walmir Pombal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Alberto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catugi FC the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Soares notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Jaime França got a free kick in the 84th minute. Reko Nybacka made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reko Nybacka. Reko Nybacka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Jaime França hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Catugi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
