An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 8th minute of play forced Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Tasis went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 14 minutes, Régis Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Rubio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Régis Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Régis Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Correia in the 29th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 32nd minute of play. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Régis Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3-1 became the score in the 48th minute when Marco Hoffmann elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Marco Hoffmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulinho Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulinho Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Régis Porto. But to his dismay, Régis Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Hoffmann in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Correia came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Marco Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. 89 minutes into the match, Marco Hoffmann notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Régis Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Régis Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Agroboys SM - CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
