The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rangel Machev got free with Hernán Prats in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hernán Prats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rangel Machev in the 3rd minute. Braulio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rangel Machev got free with Hernán Prats in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Developers's goal looked a bit too open when Romualdas Motiekaitis came free, but Hernán Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Horácio Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Developers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Developers's Hernán Prats got control of the ball when Virgilio Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Gonzalez in the 31st minute of play forced Developers's goalkeeper Hernán Prats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernán Prats was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgilio Laffitte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. A collision led to Developers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eustaquio Gomez hit a great ball. Teofilo Gonzalez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Hernán Prats made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lucas Ugutz made the kick off in the second half. With 54 minutes on the clock, Alain Marquez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 54th minute, Alain Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Eugenio Toppi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernán Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Beat in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Virgilio Laffitte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernán Prats. Developers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Developers made a substitution. Genaro Ibon replaced Jonas Arotza. Braulio Manny made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Genaro Ibon sent off a good shot on target. Developers's Hernán Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Ramone in the 79th minute of play. Braulio Manny was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Andres Abeitia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andres Abeitia really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Erubiel Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Ugutz in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernán Prats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genaro Ibon hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Virgilio Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hernán Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carapa FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
