In the 5th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ribeiro Sales FC's Tytus Loncki got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Strandberg. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ribeiro Sales FC's João Augusto Fantini was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isen Gard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Strandberg in the 39th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Strandberg was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Strandberg's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Strandberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Murilo Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Fernando Brodel in the 62 minute of the game. In the 66th match minute, Ribeiro Sales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Wagner Vaida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wagner Vaida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Brodel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ribeiro Sales FC! Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ribeiro Sales FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
